api authentication "property evaluation failed"

Hi all,

I am having a real issue getting the API to work from my asp.NET webpage. I have downloaded the demo code from here and have imported the code into my project. I have set the various keys in the web.config and I get the error "property evaluation failed" when doing a response redirect to the auth_url. I have my API set up with the correct callback URL (by the way)

I have 2 questions.

1. Anyone know what this error is and how I can get around it?

2. Do you HAVE to go to that 'Do you want to allow this application access' page every time or is there a nice way to allow it in advance?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help with this.

p.s. I only know about number 2 because I copied and pasted the auth_url into a seperate browser and it took me to flickr to ask me the question....

Thanks again.

Happy easter by the way - I will check once we are all back at work again......

Hi again,

This was an asp.NET error as opposed to anything with flickrNet.

Glad you got the problem sorted.

You don't need to go to that page each time if you store the authentication token somewhere - either server side in a database perhaps, or in a client side cookie.
