Hi

I'm developing an application for photo upload to flickr on powershell.

When I upload a photo with more than 3MB, UploadPicture() fails.

I could upload a photo smaller than 3MB by using UploadPicture().

I have a Pro account, so I can upload a photo with more than 3MB on flickr web site.

Is there any limitation for file size that can be uploaded through UploadPicture() of FlickrNet ?

Regards,

Miho

There isn't a filesize limit imposed by the FlickrNet library. If you are getting a timeout issue then try setting Flickr.HttpTimeout to something greater.

Flickr have a 15MB or 20MB (depending on if you are a Pro or not) limit on filesize: http://www.flickr.com/help/with/uploading/

Thanks Sam!

I'll try to set Flickr.HttpTimeout.

@samjudson - Can you clarify if the HttpTimeout property is set in seconds?

No, it is in milliseconds.

The value is passed straight to the HttpWebRequest.Timeout property under the hood.
